One of my greatest joys in life, apart from my daughter, is helping people. My goal is to help you feel better, move with less pain and more confidence.

I have been working in the industry since graduating from Dublin City University in 2009. I believe that research based, intelligent training should be accessible to everyone. I am committed to furthering my education to bring you the most up to date information available. I am and will forever be a student! I have taken courses and workshops on assessment and screening, injury prevention and management and performance. More recently, my journey as a mom has fueled a passion for helping women exercise safely during and after pregnancy.

Training should be enjoyable and revitalising. My philosophy on exercise emphasises movement quality over quantity. I want to empower you to handle your life’s demands whether that’s skiing or picking up your grandkids.

I am originally from Ireland. I moved to Vancouver in 2011, and immediately fell in love with the mountains, the ocean and the lifestyle. If I am not in the gym, you'll find me hiking, running or sitting in one of the North shore breweries.

I have lived in the Lower Mainland my entire life and my passion for movement goes as far back as I can remember. I grew up participating in many different sports from competitive swimming to Ringette, as well as all the outdoor activities that BC has to offer.

I received my Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia in 2017. I continue to strive to keep up with the latest research in human movement, injury prevention and optimal performance. During my career I have attended many courses and conferences including Functional Movement Systems, Strongfirst’s Kettlebell Certification, Pain-Free Performance Certification and NeuroKinetic Therapy. My coaching includes a combination of knowledge that I’ve learned from each of these courses.

My coaching style is methodical as I follow a systematic approach to build strength and confidence with my clients. I am very passionate about helping individuals reach their strength-training and movement-specific goals but more importantly, I want to empower my clients to take on any endeavor they choose!

When I’m not in the gym blaring country music you can find me at our local breweries or exploring the outdoors of the North Shore.

I’m a North Shore local with a love for strength and kettlebells. I’m passionate about good movement and believe it’s important to get strong so you can tackle anything that life throws your way!

Every individual has a unique story, and I am committed to understanding your values, objectives, and needs to shape programming and outcomes. I received my Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology from Queen’s University in 2014, and have since committed to expanding my education and sharing these tools with others. The most impactful courses I’ve completed to date are the Strongfirst SFG Level 2 kettlebell certification and the Pain Free Performance Specialist Level 1.

My favourite tool is the kettlebell; its principles are applicable to rehab, performance training, and everything in between. I am also experienced with chronic pain and concussion management. My own personal journey includes several sports-related concussions and many soft tissue injuries, so I find I can connect and empathize well with those still navigating their own paths.

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m always on the go. When I’m not swinging kettlebells, you will find me skiing the deep powder of the BC mountains, hiking peaks, trying a new sport, or enjoying a craft beer flight with my Kinected Strength colleagues.
